4-25-2019 Ruston, La Significant tornado damage, La Tech hit, buildings destroyed trees down

Significant tornado damage from a long track storm producing either a single long track tornado or multiple tornadoes. In Ruston, La significant damage to the downtown area where multiple stores were completely destroyed, several homes were damaged, destroyed or had trees on them. Louisiana Tech University sustained damaged. The baseball field roof was ripped off, the stands were left in a heap, outfield fence is spread over the city and the scoreboard obliterated. The tornado also did minor damage to dorms. Spoke to several parents who drove over to check on their children at the college.
