Please Read! So excited to release the next song in my Jenna Marbles musical series. This is Peach's solo song!!!!
To be honest, I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do with this song, especially since Peach doesn't have too many quirks that are like Kermit's crying or the joke that Marbles is basically dead.
But thanks to the help of all of you, I was able to gather some ideas! I kind of went with the energetic style of Peach for the song. I feel like if she could actually talk, she'd kind of go off subject a bit and forget what she was talking about, so I tried to mimic that with the verses, each talking about an entirely different subject. Someone requested I include the fact that she looks like a chicken cutlet, so you're welcome (and I don't mean any offense in saying that- all in good fun)!
I tried to make the musical style what I think is the music that plays in Peach's head every second of the day, very bright and peppy and fun.
I wrote this entire thing yesterday in an hour or so, so it's not totally amazing in terms of variation and other things, but I love love love the bridge!!!
Special thanks to Retta Laumann for performing this song! An absolute queen and such a perfect fit for Peach! She literally learned this within 24 hours and this performance was absolutely perfect on both ends!!!
Hopefully the audio is better in this video. I found a room where I can out the camera closer to the performer so the piano isn't drowning everything out.
I was planning to release this next week, but I wanted to get it out there today as a Happy Belated Birthday gift to Julien!!!!
