1.) The number of babies born in America fell to a 32-year-low in 2018. The biggest decrease was in teen mothers ages 15-19. The rate went up for women 35-to-44 years old.
2.) San Francisco has become the first U.S. city to ban facial recognition software. Privacy and civil liberties advocates are celebrating the decision.
3.) Former President Jimmy Carter is recovering from hip surgery. The 94-year-old Carter fell and broke his hip as he was leaving home to go turkey hunting.
