Cotonou, Benin Republic burns as a result of post-election violence. There is massive protest across cities in Benin Republic as a result of protest against what majority claim is "an attempt by the President to turn the country into a one-party state". It is claimed that the President (Talon) arrested every single opposition leader and candidate.
The majority rejected the outcome of the election.
