How do Maelstrom builds look on a stamDK?

With the Flurry buff in Elsweyr, it's time to take a look at Maelstrom builds on a few classes. Maelstrom builds used to be the most powerful stamina builds pre-Morrowind, but changes to sustain quickly made many stamina DPS shift to Heavy Attack builds (Dubious Camoran Throne did not exist at the time). The two classes that will make the most use out of Flurry are the stamina Dragonknight and the stamina Sorcerer. Here, we focus on the Dragonknight.

Based on our tests, it seems like using Noxious Breath as our spammable is still the best way to go, both from a DPS perspective and a sustain perspective. One of the primary concerns of a Maelstrom rotation is the fact that Flurry is more costly to use as a spammable compared to Noxious Breath. That being said, the DPS difference is fairly small, and with different sets the results may end up varying. For example, we could use Deadly Strike with Lokkestiiz rather than Relequen, which may impact our results.
