Singapore studying whether to include virtual banks as licensed entities

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is studying whether to admit virtual banks as licensed entities, and how this would affect how fintech firms operate. It declined to say when such licences would be issued, but said it has been engaging relevant stakeholders.
