The Most Important Skill In Fortnite: Building vs. Aim vs. IQ! (Fortnite Tips & Tricks - Season 9)

In this video today we're gonna be discussing the following question.: What is the most valuable skill to have when it comes to being a good Fortnite player? Now, obviously if I covered every possible skill in Fortnite, this video would go on Forever. So, I'm gonna instead focus on what I would call the games 3 "main" skills: Building/Editing, Gunskill, and IQ/Gamesense. Building/Editing is simple enough to understand, it covers how fast you're able to build, your ability to make effective use of materials, ramp rushes, high ground re-takes, all of that good stuff that we know is important. And I've decided to also throw editing in this same category since it goes hand and hand with building, so that will also include your ability to make quick and effective edit plays. Gunskill is another relatively simple one to understand, it's pretty much: how accurate are you in close, medium, and long range fights? Are you able to hit shots with every different weapon type in Fortnite? Can you consistently hit headshots? Those are some of the most important skills that make up the gunskill category. Out of the 3 categories I listed IQ/Gamesense is probably the hardest one to sum up in a sentence or two. It basically encompasses all the little things that good players do to make the correct play in every situation, and their general feel for the game as a whole. Some examples of things that fall into this category would be positioning, making smart rotations, and predicting enemy movements. Now what's interesting about these 3 skills, is that if you had asked me a few weeks ago to rank them from most important to least important, it would've been totally different than how I would rank them now. That's in large part due to how much this game was changed by the release of season 9. So, I hope you guys enjoy this video!
