There is the perfect number of does that you can have on your land, to attract and maximize the number of bucks on your land. Too many does equals too few bucks. Bad herds, hunting and habitat can happen if you allow excessive numbers of does to fill the habitat on your land. Once you pass the number of does that should be on your land, the number of bucks that you can attract to your land begins to dwindle. Beware of the signs that will lead you to not only fewer bucks on your land during the daylight, but even fewer bucks on your land during the night. If you want to have great sex ratios, build a quality herd, create a quality hunt and attract the most bucks in the neighborhood onto your small parcel during the daylight (during the hunting season), then make sure to follow along...
