Government Primary School in Avali-Canacona is under repair since a year. According to villagers the repair work was taken up claiming that it would be completed within 2 months. Around 45 students were given a temporary arrangement made out of coconut leaves. However, now it seems to be a year and student still continue in the temporary shed. Villagers have stated that the contractor is not clear on the progress of work. They have urged Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to personally look into the matter.
