Jason Roy and Bairstow started brilliantly as they shared a 128-run opening partnership. While Barstow got out soon after scoring a fifty, Roy went on to get a daddy hundred.
Roy got to his 9th ODI century in the 27th over. The batsman was approaching the crease on the other end while looking at the fielder. After the fumble, he looked at the scorecard and was overjoyed to have reached his century.
He did not realize that he was running into umpire Joel Wilson who was also looking at the ball. Roy wanted to celebrate and instead ran into Wilson knocking him down.
It was comical to watch and Wilson too took it sportingly. He got up and then Jason celebrated his hundred.
