PRE-ARRIVAL: Fully involved garage and car behind 20 Magna Drive, Coplay PA.

At 5:43PM Thursday afternoon, Coplay and Whitehall Fire was dispatched to the area of 9th and Chestnut Streets for a structure fire. On arrival, Whitehall Assistant Chief Bilder found a fully involved garage and car with a tree burning and exposure to the dwelling behind 20 Magna Drive.

Whitehall Engine 13 (LC3811) arrived and stretched a 2 1/2" line to the garage and car. Engine 3 (LC3831) arrived second and brought in a water supply from Chestnut and 11th. Crews stretched two 1 3/4" hand lines for a total of 3 lines operating.
