Quads and Cars + May 2019 Mailbag

Quads and Cars + May 2019 Mailbag This video features the HGLRC XJB 145 and the Eachine E58 quad copters to start, along with introductory remote control systems

Why you may well ask.... well I am starting a topic on how drones and other RC planes, Cars, Quads etc work, I order to explain how to use BLDC Motors, PID Loops, Micro controllers, Computer protocols, Charging Batteries, Sensing your environment etc.

AKA, Learn loads of stuff regarding control systems, remote control, motor control, telemetry, and micro controllers. and this can be applied to many different markets like industry, Home automation, robotics etc, but I want it to be fun and entertaining.

I am not trying to show of my flying skills (I have none lol), I will be providing a very details walk through on how these work right from the gimbals to the motors, I am trying to gather a bunch of different models and electronics to make this as interesting as possible

First thing I need though is some equipment and Banggood came to the rescue and helped me out, I also bought a bunch of extras for the educational experience like more transmitters, Video cameras, Receivers and batteries.

Word of WARNING! I have never flown a quad before so there will be some crashes etc and a lot of learning.

First things first, lets look at what I am working with, a quick peek inside and a bit about the new laws popping up arround the world.

Both the quad copters shown are legal to fly by anyone of any age, no test, no registration (There well under 250g including battery), though there may be other restrictions depending on your country and were you want to fly. Be Safe, Be Smart.
