YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk resigns over drug scandal of its singers 양현석, "모든 YG 직책에서 사퇴"...비아이 마약의혹 사태 일파만파

The CEO of South Korean media giant YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk , has announced that he's stepping down from his posts at the company... amid drug charges against its singers.
The company has been embroiled in a series of drug scandals the latest involving B.I, a now-former member of K-pop boy band iKON.
He quit the group on Wednesday because of the allegations that he bought drugs three years ago.
Yang, the CEO, is alleged to have pressured the witness who reportedly gave the drugs to B.I to change her testimony to the police.
Other K-pop stars affiliated with YG include Big Bang and Blackpink.
