వచ్చే నెల మొదటి వారంలో ఆస్ట్రేలియా-ఇంగ్లండ్‌ జట్ల మధ్య ఆరంభం కానున్న యాషెస్‌ సిరీస్‌లో క్రికెటర్లు తెల్ల జెర్సీలపై నంబర్లు, తమ పేర్లతో బరిలోకి దిగనున్నారు. టెస్టు క్రికెట్‌ను మరింత ముందుకు తీసుకెళ్లాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో ఈ మేరకు ఐసీసీ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. దాంతో భారత ఆటగాళ్లు కూడా వచ్చేనెలలో వెస్టిండీ్‌సతో తలపడే టెస్ట్‌ సిరీ్‌సలో నెంబర్‌, పేరుతో కూడిన జెర్సీలు ధరించనున్నారు. ఇరు జట్ల మధ్య జరుగనున్న రెండు టెస్టుల సిరీస్‌లో తొలి మ్యాచ్‌ ఆగస్టు 22న ఆంటిగ్వాలో మొదలవనుంది. వన్డేలు, టీ20ల్లో భారత ఆటగాళ్లు ఏ నెంబర్‌తో ఆడుతున్నారో ఆ నెంబర్‌తోనే టెస్టుల్లో కూడా బరిలోకి దిగే అవకాశాలున్నాయి. అంటే విరాట్‌ కోహ్లి 18, రోహిత్‌ 45 నెంబర్‌నే ఉపయోగించనున్నారు.
