Soya Chunks 200 gm (soaked for 10-15 minutes and then squeezed)
3 large size Onions (1 onion for paste and 2 onions for Bulbs)
25-30 Shallots
6 Tbsp Oil
200 gm Fresh Cream
2 medium sized Tomatoes
2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
2 Tbsp Chopped Ginger
1 Tbsp Salt
1 Tbsp Coriander powder
1 Tbsp Red chilli powder
For paste :
2 medium size Tomatoes +
6-8 cloves of peeled garlic
2 inches of a Ginger piece
1 Tbsp whole coriander
1 Tbsp whole Jeera
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
By adding some water make a smooth paste
How to prepare ::
Heat two pans in two separate Oven
Pour 2 Tbsp Oil in each pan
To the one pan add 25-30 Shallots
Cover cook until Shallots are translucent..
( when shallots are translucent switch off the flame and keep aside)
To the other Pan add 2 large size Onions bulbs.. Saute for few 2-3 minutes now add
2 Tbsp Chopped Garlic and
2 Tbsp Chopped Ginger..
Mix properly and cover cook until onion becomes translucent... It will take 5-6 minutes.
When onions are translucent
Add Soaked and Squeezed Soya Chunks
Mix properly.. Now add
1 Tbsp Salt( according to your taste ) +
1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder +
1 Tbsp Coriander powder +
1 Tbsp Red chilli powder(according to your taste) +
2 Tbsp Secret Bhuna Masala +
250 ml water Mix properly and with medium to high heat cook for 4-5 minutes and then add
200 gm Fresh Cream
Cook for another 2-3 minutes
now Switch off the flame
Add the prepared Translucent Shallots to the prepared Soya Chunks Gravy. Mix properly and it is ready to serve
For Secret Bhuna Masala ::
Heat a vessel pour 2 Tbsp Oil
Add 1 large Size Onion paste.
Slow flame Saute for 4-5 minutes.
Add the prepared paste which is shown in Ingredients part.
And add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder + 1 tsp Red Chilli powder + 1 tsp Salt
Now mix all the ingredients and saute with continuous stir .. Saute until Oil oozes to the surface of the vessel.
Now switch off the flame.. Secret Bhuna Masala is ready.. You can keep this masala in an air tight container for months. And whenever you need to prepare any gravy you can use.
