I am so frustrated with failed attempts to chase moles away from our yard! They are causing a lot of damage, especially along the brick borders of our gardens and beneath the brick and block patios. I have repaired the mole damage many times, lifting heavy bricks and blocks and filling in the matrix of mole tunnels beneath. Our soil is sandy making it easy for the moles to dig their tunnels and tear up our yard and landscaping. It is incredible how much sand they dig up and how quickly they construct new mounds! There always seems to be a surplus of dirt when I wash the soil back into the mole holes using a garden hose. Anyway, I am giving up trying to "chase them away." The next methods I employ will be lethal: poison worms and quick kill traps!
