Why NBA Stars Are LEAVING Team USA (And Why It's Good For The League)

Why NBA Stars Are LEAVING Team USA (And Why It's Good For The League) Welcome back everybody, in today's video I wanted to talk about a topic that has become a bigger and bigger storyline as the NBA offseason goes along - the Team USA men's basketball roster for the 2019 FIBA World Cup. This story has gained a lot of attention for a simple reason: a lot of the best American basketball players in the world have decided to withdraw from team USA for the event. The long list includes: Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Bradley Beal, Zion Williamson, Andre Drummond, James Harden, Anthony Davis, and more. The quantity and quality of the players that have withdrawn from the event has caused a lot of people to question how competitive team USA will be... but in my opinion it makes a ton of sense for them to drop out, and it also benefits the NBA and team USA as a whole.
