Li spoke during a meeting in Beijing with a US business delegation led by Myron Brilliant, executive vice president and head of international affairs at the US Chamber of Commerce, and Carlos Gutierrez, a former US secretary of commerce.
"We share wide common interests and I believe we have the wisdom to find a solution," Li said.
He added that China had a "vast market" which "welcomes American entrepreneurs" and planned to build up a more favourable environment for trade and investment.
