NFL trade rumors are flying this morning after reports of a Minkah Fitzpatrick trade request. Fitzpatrick, the 2nd-year defensive back for the Miami Dolphins, was granted permission by the team to seek out trade partners. As the Dolphins are in clear tank-mode, it’s been reported that several players are seeking trades since it seems like the team isn’t trying at all to win in 2019. Fitzpatrick had 80 tackles and 2 INT in a steller rookie season, but has been upset with the Dolphins’ plan to move him around in their secondary on a game-by-game basis this year. Week 1 vs. Baltimore was clearly one of his worst games as a pro as he gave up 6 catches on 6 targets in the blowout loss.
