NATIONS DEVELOPMENT: Lawmaker emphasized the need for more investment in education.


The house of Representatives member representing Egor and ikpoba okha federal constituency Jude Ise-Idehen has emphasized the need for more investment in education as it remains the bedrock of  Nations development.


He made the remarks when he  held an interactive session with his constituency over the weekend in Benin city, Edo state capital.


According to our correspondent jimoh ogirima reports that  winners also emerged in the essay writing competition held to mark the day where various prizes were given to the winners.


He said no nation can strive without good education hence he decided to organize such for the people of his constituency.


The house of Representatives member assured people of his constituency that such town hall meetings will be held to get feedback at all times said he will never let them down.

Some of the members proffer suggestions and advise  on how the legislator can move the constituency forward.

Representatives of NDLEA in his goodwill message appealed to him to also extend such initiative to enlightening students on the need to avoid using drugs.


Some of those that won the various prizes which include support for their various school  fees laptops and welcome back to school bags among others thanked the lawmaker for the initiative as they say  it will go a long way to assist their education pursuit.
