Newly released video footage shows the kidnapping of Tekashi69. The dash-cam footage began at around 4 a.m.
Anthony “Harv” Ellison and a friend identified only as “Sha.” rammed a stolen car into a Chevy Tahoe driven by Tekashi’s driver, Jorge Rivera, at Atlantic Ave. and Bedford Ave..
Tekashi, who was in the backseat of the SUV, thought to himself “Damn, they caught me slipping, it’s over,”. He relayed this information at trial on his second day of testimony. Tekashi vividly described the terrifying kidnapping by one of his former friends in the Nine Trey Bloods that was captured on dramatic dashboard video above.'
Tekashi would later be released by his kidnappers after pleading for his life and handing over money and jewels. The following is from 6ix9ines court testimony:
After losing Rivera, Ellison pulled the car over, Tekashi said. “Sha pinned me down on the floor by my hair and he just kept hitting me,” he said.
“Say you’re not Billy!” Ellison allegedly demanded, using slang for a Nine Trey Bloods member. Tekashi said it three times. They then threw him back in the car.
“Yo, we should do this n---ga right here,” Sha allegedly said, suggesting they whack Tekashi.
"You right. Ain’t nobody gonna know. It’s a stolie (stolen car) anyway. We could burn this sh---, " Ellison said, according to Tekashi.
“We came to an agreement. If I gave them the jewelry they would let me go,” Tekashi said.
They drove back to Tekashi’s home on Kingston Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Sha retrieved the jewelry stashed in a pink Minnie Mouse bag from the mother of the rapper’s daughter. But they didn’t let him out of the car, Tekashi said.
Instead, they drove for a few more blocks — and then Tekashi made a run for it near a housing project known as Smurf Village, fearing Ellison was going to shoot him in the back.
Tekashi jumped into the backseat of a random car at a nearby stop sign. The driver told him to get out, Tekashi recalled.
“Bro, I’m about to die. Just drive!” Tekashi said.
