The Implications of Fear (Mental Note)

The Implications of Fear (Mental Note) This week I wanted to talk a little bit about fear. While at a conference, I encountered a little girl who was lost and afraid. She didn’t know English and it was difficult for those trying to help her to bring her comfort and find her parents.

After spending some time with her and looking for her family, I started thinking about the implications of fear on our lives, specifically for people of color and those who are immigrants to our country.

How does living in this constant state of fear and anxiety affect our day to day and our mental health? In this week’s Mental Note, I share with you a few thoughts from my perspective but also invite you to share with me your thoughts.

Please send us an email at media@itsallmentalpodcast.com and let us know what you think about fear specifically in relation to our political climate.
