The US House Judiciary Committee has voted to move forward with investigative procedures that could lead to the impeachment of President Donald Trump. The committee voted along party lines. The move was approved over unanimous Republican opposition, and allows the enhanced questioning of witnesses.
It is the first step in a lengthy process that could eventually lead to an impeachment.
