Dr. Tammy Nelson: 'So there's a fascinating survey that Ashley Madison the dating Web site for people who cheat and are looking for someone to cheat did where they found that seven out of ten of their most popular states… voted Republican in our last election. Now that's not saying necessarily there's more Republicans than Democrats on the site.

There's a lot of reasons that people cheat or there's a lot of reasons that people look for an outside relationship.

I think what it's safe to say is that people who grow up in conservative households politically conservative there's a tendency to be religiously conservative and sexually conservative.

And in our society today being sexually conservative means there's very little sexual education and we don't talk about sex. And there is a direct connection between households that don't talk about sex and repressed sexuality and sexual expression and acting out you know what is hidden many times gets acted out.
