With the Queen in the completed new cutout hive box the remaining bees begin to relocate themselves

Thank you to Bens Bees for helping us out of a tight squeeze after a base board and lid were left at a different site.


The bees will tend to follow the Queen and Brood. So with the Queen and Brood secured in the new hive the remaining bees in the old hive location will normally march themselves into the new hive box with little interaction with us.
