Annual Ryegrass As an Alternative Forage Option

Here we had a client plant Annual Ryegrass as an alternative forage option in West Central Minnesota. It was planted in late July and was fairly slow growing early on. But once it got some moisture it really thrived with September weather and has done great ever since. We will get you an update on this once the final harvest data has been collected. Thank You!
