╔ About the Amerisleep AS3 Mattress ╗
Amerisleep is a leading brand when it comes to quality memory foam mattresses. They offer five different memory foam models, each with a different firmness. Each of these models has a cover made from a blend of polyester, Celliant fabric, and spandex.

The AS1 (formerly known as the Americana) features one layer of 4 PCF memory foam in the comfort system and a support core made of 1.8 PCF polyfoam. This is the shortest and firmest mattress in Amerisleep’s current selection.
The AS2 (formerly known as the Revere) is constructed with a single layer of 4 PCF memory foam in the comfort layer. The support core has a top layer of ‘Surface Modification Technology’ 1.65 PCF polyfoam and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF polyfoam.
The AS3 (formerly known as the Liberty) features one layer of 4 PCF memory foam in the comfort layer. The support core has a top layer of contoured ‘Surface Modification Technology’ 1.65 polyfoam and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF polyfoam.
The AS4 (formerly known as the Colonial) has a four-inch layer of 4 PCF memory foam. The support core features a top layer of contoured ‘Surface Modification Technology’ 1.65 polyfoam and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF polyfoam.
The AS5 (formerly known as the Independence) is the thickest and softest mattress in Amerisleep’s current collection. It is designed with two layers in the comfort system: a top layer of 4 PCF memory foam, and a bottom layer of 3 PCF polyfoam. The support core has a top layer of contoured ‘Surface Modification Technology’ 1.65 polyfoam and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF polyfoam.

As you can see, Amerisleep’s mattress selection encompasses a wide range of profile and firmness options. This ensures most sleepers will be able to find a suitable Amerisleep model regardless of their body weight, normal position, or comfort preferences.

The AS1 and AS2 are Amerisleep’s firmest beds. These models are best suited for heavier individuals who experience excessive sagging from softer beds – back and stomach sleepers in particular. The AS3, As4, and AS5 are softer by comparison, making them good options for those who weigh 230 pounds or less. This is especially true for side sleepers, who often need extra cushioning beneath their shoulders and hips in order to improve their spinal alignment.

All Amerisleep mattresses feature a cover made from Celliant fabric, an innovative material that absorbs radiant energy from the sleeper’s body, converts it into infrared energy, and retransmits it back into the body. This process helps improve blood circulation, regulate body temperature, and increase tissue oxygenation. As a result, Amerisleep mattresses are very suitable for athletes and other physically active individuals.

How Do Amerisleep Mattresses Compare to Other Brands?

As any consumer does with a product they’re considering, our mattress assessments naturally involve comparing them with other similar products. Be it composition, firmness, or price, we think it’s important to see how Amerisleep mattresses stack up to other beds.

Amerisleep offers five all-foam mattress models, ranging from ‘Firm’ to ‘Soft’; customers may also choose from 10″, 12″, and 14″ profiles. This selection should accommodate most sleepers regardless of their body type, sleep position, or comfort preferences. The firmer AS1 and AS2 models are optimal for heavier individuals, while the softer AS3, As4, and As5 mattresses are more suitable for lighter people.
