Shaky-Sand and Quantum-Ticking has gone Boat Free! The boats did add a bit of stability during unloading, but it was not consistent enough to deal with the the cumbersome setup. Instead we are compacting the build and going to accept that if you unload your game (not fly away, but log off) you are going to have to reset the sand and the crops. The minor nusance of having to reset it is worth it given Q-Ticking is three times faster than normal zero-ticking. That means a small 3x3 clock creating a 5x5 footprint can pump out 9,000 Cactus, 5,600 Sugar Cane, or 24,000 Bamboo per hour. You can increase the Sugar Cane and Bamboo numbers with a slightly more complicated harvesting clock.
This tech works in 1.13, 1.14, and the current 1.15 pre-release.
