Is This The END OF OUR CHANNEL?!?! We have been getting a lot of comments from you guys asking about the new COPPA laws being enforced on YouTube Creators, and if it will effect our channel or not? In this video we want to first and foremost say that we believe (can’t guarantee) our channel will be safe under the new laws. The COPPA laws are aimed to protect data mining of minors (kids under 13 years old). The FTC will begin enforcing that any channel aimed at producing content geared towards kids will have to self identify or face $40,000+ fine if caught “Lying”. Furthermore if you are deemed a kid channel you will have a 90% reduction in ad revenue, comments removed, subscriptions, and notifications removed, no community chat and more. We pray that Youtube will find a better solution to this than they have now. We will be posting a link to a petition to let the FTC know how many people care about this topic, as well as a link to a more detailed video on COPPA from a Youtube Lawyer. Love you guys!
