HK Police: Can't confirm unidentified man's death is linked to protests Hong Kong police said a man in his 30s is dead, after a fall. The unidentified man was found unconscious on the street in Tsuen Wan on Wednesday night. He was wearing black, a color often worn by protesters. But the police have not confirmed his death was related to the protests. In a separate incident, a 70-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck on the head with a brick by masked rioters. It happened at the Sheung Shui metro station in New Territories. The man was clearing bricks left by protesters outside the station after lunch break. The HKSAR government released a press statement this morning. It condemned the malicious acts of rioters, and vowed to bring offenders to justice. The government said it's in contact with the victim's family to provide support. Also, the city has closed all schools for the rest of the week.
