Hey everybody! Hope you are doing well and having a beautiful day. I've been thinking a lot about networking lately, and having a lot of agents ask me questions: "How do you build your network?".

Oh, my gosh, you have almost 5000 Facebook friends. How do you do that? You have 7000 Instagram followers. You have IGTV. How do you do that? Well, it's about networking.

For some people, it's about stalking. And going on friends, friends and friending them. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom. Every single one possible, which is fine. I guess, a lot of people get pushback to that and think it's weird. And eventually Facebook caps you.

So that's the thing. But what about, and what people forget about, is what about the genuine connection. I know no one likes to talk anymore, no one likes to text. But you got to talk to people. And when you're talking to them.

What better way? I mean, you can argue is a business card handing over: is that a good thing or a bad thing? Is it slimy? Is it salesy? Or not? And do you even carry business cards anymore? I mean, that's almost going by way of the dinosaur. But you have a great networking tool. You know, you have your V card, obviously.

But really, why not? When you're talking with somebody. You're at the farm share, you're picking up your stuff and you start a conversation. Someone introduces you to a friend and you're hitting it off.

And you be like, hey, you know, I'm not selling anything, but I'd love to connect more. Are you on Facebook and Instagram? What's your handle? And then right there, pull it out, pop on the app, put their name in hit search and hit friend.

You know, the likelihood and the conversion that they accept that request or decide to follow you back is exponentially higher than... I have a friend. Here. Let me friend. Old friends, friend. Friend, friend. Friend. Friend. Friend. Friend. Friend. Friend. Friend. Friend.

That's a superficial build. If it works, if it works. Connection, connection, connection. Connect with the people. They'll be more than happy to confirm your requested. They have a lovely conversation about cucumbers and that apples are bountiful this year because they're relating to you on a human level.

So I want you to keep that in mind when networking. That's the number one tip. Number one tip. Building your Facebook and Instagram profiles is be genuine connect and network on the spot.

All right. Have a beautiful day, everybody. Take care.
