"NOTHING CAN BE ALLOWED TO INTERFERE. THE GUESTS MUST EAT. THE MAW MUST SURVIVE..." This is the story of both a young child by the name of Six as well as her dreadful prison - a mysterious vessel known only as the Maw, its sole purpose to feed and consume eternally. One day she suddenly awakens from a strange dream, stranded somewhere in the darkest depths, her thoughts a blurred haze. Despite the severity of her situation, Six, determination to survive gathering within, immediately sets out to find a way back to the surface. However, the journey won't be a simple task - the many inhabitants of the Maw are eager to fest upon fresh meat; to rid themselves of bothersome pests running about. Can Six overcome her primal cravings and save her life, or will she be consumed in the process?

"Little Nightmares" happens to be a horror-themed adventure game, one allowing players to experience some of the simplest of fears from their childhoods once more. Exploring the vastness of the Maw, a haunting vessel filled to the brim with countless dangers and hostile creatures, each of the latter eager to feast upon their next meal, you will be taught what it means to see the world through the eyes of a small child once more. Thanks to its absolutely wonderful and bizarre art direction, "Little Nightmares" will leave a lasting impression upon your mind, adding to it with most atmospheric music and sound design along the way. However, there can be no reward without some serious work. Can we successfully solve the puzzles, overcome the mechanisms and evade the relentless pursuers of the Maw?
