People Sympathise With the dead (A Sarcasm)|Spoken word poetry The minute we hear someone is dead, we automatically turn that person to a Saint. We begin to feel bad about the person's death even if a minute before that we had wished they'd die and disappear off the surface of earth.
Why are we kinder to the dead than the living?
Why does death seem to humble us more than the gift of life?
It's like a culture of pretense and hypocrisy: you have to say nice things about the dead no matter how horrible you think they were while living.
Show all the love now to the living and don't wait till the living become the dead before you begin to lavish so much love.
