General Chemistry Lecture 425 - COMPOSITIONS OF PARTICULATE POLLUTANTS IN THE AIR

Particulates include organic and Inorganic substances. Recent estimates in USA indicates nearly 22 metallic elements are particulates in the air. The most common elements are calcium, sodium, silicon, aluminum and iron. In urban locations these metallic elements are found zinc, lead, copper, magnesium and manganese.
