Does god draw us or do we seek Him? The Christian Church, especially the Baptists and those who are part of the Calvinistic Theology, they will tell you that you do not have free will, you do not have the choice to choose but God does everything for you. They manipulate the Bible and the gospel truth to mean that Jesus just saves some people, His elect, and the rest of the people are predestined to go to Hell and so these Christians become very prideful and arrogant, thinking that they are the ones entitled to eternal life, no matter how much sin they have, and the whole rest of the world is going to hell. Remember that Jesus said that for God so loved the WHOLE WORLD that He gave His one and only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus did not say that God so loved the elect only but that He loved the WORLD. (Thus drawing ALL to be saved) Don’t believe any Christians that believe in this predestination lie, twisting the scriptures about predestination and about God drawing us. It is true that He draws us, Jesus said in John 6:44; “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws Him, and I will raise Him up at the last day.” But remember that any marriage takes two to work on it. Jesus has not done everything for you and everything for me, He does call us but we have to seek Him with all of our might. We have to love Him with all of our strength, all of our mind. We have to be in love with our Father in Heaven and if we rebel against Him and go our own way, we have no salvation. The foolish people say in their heart that there is no God, but the even bigger fool says there is a God who does all the work for him and he can relax, live life for himself and in the end he will inherit eternal life because God has destined him to go to heaven. The fool thinks he is entitled to eternal life. Don’t believe the foolish gospel, those who preach the grace gospel that you can continue to sin a God will save you. Believe the true gospel that you must repent of your sins, be baptized, receive the Holy Spirit, and with all of your might and all of your strength seek after Jesus. Seek His pleasure, live for Him, because if you rebel against Him and think you are safe and secure and going to heaven, what salvation awaits you in the end? May the grace of Jesus be with you.
