As per the recent government data, many states have failed to utilize 'Nirbhaya funds' for women's safety. The Nirbhaya funds were started after the rape and murder of a girl at Delhi in Decemeber, 2012. States like Telangana and Andhra were giver around Rs 18-20 crore Nirbhaya fund of which they have used only Rs 7-8 crore for in women's safety. Recently, the 25-year-old veterinarian was gang-raped and murdered by four truck drivers and cleaners near a toll gate on the Outer Ring Road at Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad on November 27. #NirbhayaFunds #Hyderabad #RapeCasesInIndia
