Hypnagogic Training Aid:
The second stage of learning to have a 'Waking-Induced Lucid Dream' (a WILD) involves gazing at the hypnagogic images that slowly begin to appear behind our closed eyes just before we fall asleep...
Instead of falling asleep as usual, however, WILDers do something else with these images that people mostly never even remember seeing; they gaze at them, patiently waiting for these images to become clearer and more detailed, and when that happens they then focus-in on some of those same details and this triggers a full Waking-Dream! (Very cool)
A common problem encountered very early on in the learning curve by all newbies, involves learning to bring these hypnagogia into sharp focus, something that can only be achieved via trial & error alone. In which case, several days are usually devoted at some point to perfect gazing at them in just the right way, and it is my hope that this 'Hypnagogic Training Aid' will help shave a couple of days off of your journey :)
It's not hard to use this training device, all you have to do is to follow the on-screen instructions and spend a few minutes learning just where & how to focus your eyes once these hypnagogia start appearing in order to give yourself the best chance of succeeding enough to trigger a full WILD...
The 'trick' (if you can call it that) is to just stare straight ahead without moving your eyes in order to follow any of the images, and in this manner you also then begin to see the rest of the image out of the corners of your eye, so to speak, you're not looking directly at it but you can still see it!
Although this training aid wont actually give you a WILD while you're using it, the practice it allows you to have will prove invaluable in bringing those hypnagogia under control once you've begun to see them...
Anyway, best of luck to all you newbies out there wanting to learn this really quite amazing ability we all have to travel into and through other, often really quite beautiful, perceptual realities...
I hope this genuinely helps, enjoy :)
