PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar has stated that PWD contract workers will have to go through interview procedure for regularization. He has stated that the workers who have completed 5 years will be absorbed in Labor Society, while those who have completed 8 years will be given temporary status. PWD contract workers have visited Minister Pauskar regarding their regularization issue. Pauskar has assured them government would look for their increment issue once mining activities begin.
Minister has informed that PWD has received ₹ 300 Cr from State Govt for miscellaneous work. Pauskar has also informed that 100% pothole work have been completed with perfect finish. Speaking about the ongoing work of Zuari bridge, he has stated that 50% work has been completed with 70% approach road to bridge complete. He has also stated that Zuari bridge would be completed by December 2020.
