“What Kind Of State Are We Living In?”: Congress MP Rajeev Gowda

NDTV’s Maya Sharma spoke to Congress MP Rajeev Gowda, who was present at the Townhall in Bengaluru to protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act. Mr Gowda said that he has filed a PIL in the court to challenge the Bengaluru Police Commissioner for imposing Section 144. He added that the protest was a peaceful one and there was no need to impose Section 144 in the area.
