Are Green Cheek Conures Suitable For Kids? | Green Cheek Conures | Transferring a Cue Addie wants to work with her mom's conure but this conure gets easily heightened when working with Addie, which leads to aggression. Also, they say the conure ignores most of Addie's cues and won't do trained tricks for her which is leaving them stuck on how to move forward with their relationship building. They attended a masterclass with us and this is what we found!

The Simon Says effect is where you get the bird into a "rhythm" and slip in a change that goes un-noticed because of the rhythm already set. Usually the bird is enthusiastic during this process and overlooks slight changes being made because it's so looking forward to performing the desired behaviors you're asking. This makes it so you can get breakthroughs in flight training, transfer a cue for someone else to do (like shown here) and much, much more!
