Jetson Nano Robot following a stick insect using Artificial Intelligence. In this video, a Jetson Nano powered robot can detect, recognize, and follow a stick insect. The idea of the project is to show the possibility of a robot and biological integration, working together to solve a problem, possibly. This project was a requirement for one of my master's course program.

The Stick insect was trained on a deep Convolutional Neural Network model using transfer learning of the existing model from GoogleNet.

For training, the NVIDIA Deep Learning GPU Training System was used. The robot is made up of a Jetson Nano Single Board Controller plus Arduino driver using the SparkFun Inventor's Kit for RedBot chassis.

The project is open-source, and all codes used for this project are available.
