A quarter of the world’s population is still at great risk when it comes to safe water sources, and even closer home, 3 out of every 5 Ghanaians are vulnerable in this regard according to WHO reports. If this is true, then we cannot take for granted the need to develop and maintain safe water systems every where in the country. One of the prolific NGOs helping this country move forward in reaching out to remote communities especially in this regard is called SAFE WATER NETWORK. We want to delve into their achievements, mode of operations, challenges and innovations as we seek clear-cut paths in the course of providing clean, safe and affordable water services to Ghana at large.
