BJP MP Tejasvi Surya said on Wednesday the "majority community" has to remain vigilant or "Mughal rule" will return to the country, as he criticised the protests against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act or CAA at Delhi's Shaheen Bagh. Shaheen Bagh is a Muslim neighbourhood in Delhi which has become the epicentre of anti-CAA protests across India. Referring to the protest at Shaheen Bagh against the CAA, Tejasvi Surya said, "Unless majority community remains vigilant, the days of Mughal Raj may not be far away."
