Australian man Casey Allen says passengers are confined to their rooms and food and drink is restricted after Japan authorities quarantined a cruise ship docked off the city Yokohama due fears surrounding the coronavirus. Authorities have confirmed two Australians are among the 10 people who have contracted the potentially deadly coronavirus disease on board the Diamond Princess.
The vessel, which has around 4,000 people onboard, will be quarantined for two weeks to stop the spread of the disease.
Mr Allen told Sky News Australians onboard have not been in touch with consular officials, as they wait for their ordeal to conclude.
