Attempting To Create Content So Everyone Will “Like” You Is Setting You Up To Be Mundane/Boring

Attempting To Create Content So Everyone Will “Like” You Is Setting You Up To Be Mundane/Boring Get my FREE training series on how to stand out with my "Legacy Maker Formula" here:

A lot of course creators and online entrepreneurs create content based on what everyone will like. Some of us make the mistake, and this may include you, to go as far as creating content for the sole purpose of WANTING everyone to like you.

This is one of the biggest mistakes anyone can make when trying to position themselves as a thought leader in the online space.

You already know that you can’t please everyone. So why would you try to do that with your content?

And if you already know that, why not take a stand, be genuine, say what you REALLY want to say, and be ok with the fact some people won’t like it.

In fact, if you are getting negative comments or criticism from your content that can be a good sign. It means you are challenging their beliefs, it means that you’re getting them to start to think beyond their current perspective, it means you are pushing away the people you can’t serve and connecting with the people who are ready to hear and learn from you.

I made this video to remind aspiring difference makers the best way to get ahead and to stand out is to stop making content that is agreeable with what’s already out there because you want to be liked.

Now, I’m not saying to make content with the intention to upset people, or hurt people’s feelings, I’m telling you to challenge the beliefs that your audience hangs on to even though they know it’s not serving them.

Let them know you offer another perspective that may be outside of the box but will change their life for the better.

No entrepreneur ever became a thought leader or difference maker with mundane content.

Think deeply, be unapologetically you and serve with a "servant heart".
