Bruce Lee  Add What Is Specifically Your Own 2019

Bruce Lee  Add What Is Specifically Your Own 2019 Bruce Lee (27 November 1940 – 20 July 1973) was a Hong Kong American martial artist and actor who is widely regarded as the most influential martial artist of the 20th century.

I said … this is what it is, OK … I said empty your mind … be formless … shapeless like water … now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup … you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle … put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot … water can flow … water can crash … be water, my friend.”

The script for the show was written by Lee’s friend – and his kung fu student – Stirling Silliphant, a prolific screenwriter who envisaged the role of Li Tsung as a way for Lee to get his acting career back on track after the demise of his debut US series The Green Hornet, which was cancelled in 1967.

Nowadays you don't go around on the street kicking people, punching people — because if you do (makes gun shape with hand), well that's it — I don't care how good you are.

When you're talking about fighting, as it is, with no rules, well then, baby you'd better train every part of your body.

Truth has no path. Truth is living and, therefore, changing.Awareness is without choice, without demand, without anxiety; in that state of mind, there is perception. To know oneself is to study oneself in action with another person. Awareness has no frontier; it is giving of your whole being, without exclusion.

I have come to discover through earnest personal experience and dedicated learning that ultimately the greatest help is self-help; that there is no other help but self-help— doing one’s best, dedicating one’s self wholeheartedly to a given task, which happens to have no end but is an ongoing process.
I have done a lot during these years of my process. A swell in my process, I have changed from self-image actualization to self-actualization, from blindly following propaganda, organized truths, etc. to searching internally for the cause of my ignorance.

Whether or not we can get together, remember well that art “lives” where absolute freedom is. With all the training thrown to nowhere, with a mind (if there is such a verbal substance) perfectly unaware of its own working, with the “self” vanishing nowhere, the art of JKD attains its perfection
