The Indian Space Research Organisation has announced the launch date of India's most ambitious space program till date - Chandrayaan 2. The successor to the 2008 Moon mission will be launched on July 15. What makes this project special is that India aims to become just the fourth country to have landed a craft on the Moon. Chandrayaan 2 consists of an orbiter, a lander, and a rover, which will study the Earth's satellite from space as well as its surface.
