Melee
/cleartarget [dead][help]
/startattack

Ranged
/cleartarget [dead][help]
/targetenemy [noexists]

If you need an example of this macro with a certain spell, don’t hesitate to ask!
I use these on literally every class I play. I learned these macros from retail wow (Battle for Azeroth), and I definitely plan on using them in Classic. You don’t even want to see what the Vanilla versions look like… oh you do?
