SINA Loketa Scholar's selection Day

SINAL is a refugee youth-led nonprofit organization that builds on creative capacities of young people from the refugee and host communities to develop social capital through entrepreneurship.

After the center had been finalized and equipped, the project team created awareness about the upcoming activities in the nearby areas and mobilized 75 applicants interested to join SINA Loketa’s first full time “Applied ” program. On January 8th the selection of scholars took place at the new site.
From Monday till Friday the scholars have been going through sessions for personal and professional growth and develop ideas into social businesses. These include practical tools from Nonviolent Communication, to life-coaching and trauma-healing. Our scholars have been able to overcome the fear of failing and started turning their innovative project ideas into social business.
