Risley Avenue Primary School - Lang Lang Scholars Visit

In May 2019 Leeds International Piano Competition alongside our partners, Wigmore Hall, visited Risley Avenue Primary School in North London. The school made this wonderful film to capture the morning of "piano brilliance" by the Scholars and lots of their pupils too. We are proud to share their film!

With us came three of the Lang Lang Scholars from Lang Lang International Music Foundation - Jasper Heymann, Shuheng Zhang and Aliya Alsafa. This visit was part of a two week residency where we performed in schools, hospitals and care homes - as well as in the wonderful LSO St Luke's and The Venue, Leeds College of Music. Performing for over 4,000 these outstanding young pianists share their enthusiasm and passion for the piano - and we were delighted to be part of the day!
